Title- Three Men and a Dragon (October 21, 1989)
Games-Dragon Warrior.
A fun episode, this revolves around Dragon Warrior. It introduces Dragon Lord as the main baddie but also needlessly includes Mother Brain as his elaborate pay checker. She’s really not needed here and doesn’t appear throughout the rest of the episode, Dragon Lord suffers though as it seems he needs assistance to actually be powerful, making him more a thug than intelligent. Anyway, there were many fun aspects of this episode, I especially liked the weapons shop, actually seemed like an rpg shop which was cool.
The dragon baby wasn’t really given the chance to be annoying, which is better than focusing on her. Dragon Lord really was a wimp though, worrying about one dragon, he’s got a freaking army of them, surely he can beat one dragon, fully grown or not.
Overall a fun episode which works well on it’s own, and is enjoyable to watch.
